  1. I’m a little tired of the blatherings of so called experts who are so full of themselves that they have the fantasy that all diabetics are waiting with bated breath for their pronouncement on what diet if any to follow etc etc.

We diabetics don’t have time for these sterile intellectual manoeuvrings (I’m being polite here) so it’s best for us to cut to the chase by:

    1. Trying out different diets by eating to our meter

2, Decide which diet is best for us or even look at a combination of diets. I combine some Paleo with Keto and a modified Newcastle diet. That work fo me and if and when it stops working then I’ll tweak and tweak until I get what I want.

    • Frank, I agree with “eat to your meter,” plus getting at least the minimum necessary vitamins, minerals, fiber, amino acids, essential fats, etc. If someone can achieve that with minimal drugs and good glycemic control, I won’t argue with it, even if it’s a vegan or vegetarian diet.
